Client-side Interface — Functional Specification

Main Functions for Client:

1.Add Charter

●​ Button: + Add Charter​

●​ Fields:​

○​ Charter Company Name​

○​ Boat Name​

○​ Boat Registration Number​

○​ Start Date of Charter (dd/mm/yyyy)​

○​ End Date of Charter (dd/mm/yyyy)​

○​ Contract Number (optional)​

○​ Contact info (Phone/Email — optional)​

●​ Saved charters are listed in “My Charters” section​

●​ Each charter becomes a container for reports​

2. Create Report

●​ [Create Report] or [Add] button on home screen​

●​ On tap, open the Non-Conformity / Damage Report form with the following fields:​

1.​ Date & Time (auto-filled or editable)​

2.​ Location (text input for marina name or GPS coordinates)​

3.​ Boat Name (text input)​

4.​ Registration Number (text input)​


5.​ Owner or Company Name (text input)​

6.​ Charter Contract Number (text input)​

7.​ Category (dropdown):​

■​ Breakdown​

■​ Missing items
■​ Non-Conformity​

■​ Damage caused by 3rd party​

■​ Damage caused by crew​

■​ Accident​

8.​ Description (multi-line text input)​

9.​ Photo upload (up to 6 images)​

10.​Your Full Name (text input)​

11.​Your Signature (digital signature)​

12.​Accepted by Full Name (optional, text input)​

13.​Accepted by Signature (optional, digital signature)​

2. Save & Export

●​ After filling out the form, the client can tap [Save & Generate PDF]​

●​ PDF file is generated and stored locally​

●​ Option to Send via Email (manual sharing outside app)​

Additional Notes

●​ Report header title is generated based on selected category (e.g., “Breakdown


Report”, “Missing Items Report”)​
●​ App works offline​

●​ Data is not stored on any server; all actions happen locally on device​

●​ No user registration required​
