FEVICOL NAIL FREE ULTRA

Fevicol Nail-free Ultra is a 1-part, high-grab adhesive-sealant that cures in presence of atmospheric moisture
in to a tough & elastic rubber and provides excellent, primer-less adhesion between most construction
surfaces without the need for a clamping solution or nailing or use of masking/double-sided adhesive tapes.

Fevicol Nail-free Ultra does not contain any solvents or isocyanates and is suitable for multiple surfaces used
in modern construction work including plywood, drywall, cement board, tiles, glass, mirror, ceramic,
porcelain, corian, concrete, marble, granite, brick, aluminum, ACP, steel & alabaster.

Features

• High initial grab & final strength.

• Does not require clamping, nailing or taping.
• Does not stain surfaces or form bubbles during
cure.
• Does not corrode metals
• Stays permanently elastic.
• UV & weather resistant.
• No shrinkage.
• Can be painted upon after 24 hours.
• Can bond to damp surfaces, seal wet areas and fix
underwater leaks.

Key applications

• Elastic bonding of panels or profiles to frames.

• Mounting wall cladding elements such as ply, ACP,
Plywood-laminate composite, alabaster on
aluminum channel & wooden frames or walls.
• Mounting stone slabs for kitchen countertops or
dining tables.
• Sandwiching wooden frames with stones under
kitchen platforms for cabinet frame mounting purposes.
• Fixing mirror/Painted Glass on tiles, plywood, Fiber cement, Bison Board and WPC board.
• Fixing tiles, marble & granite to plywood, concrete & various other substrates.
• Providing water-tight seal between two connecting rainwater gutter duct lengths.
• Can be used for DIY applications for small fixing and repair with compatible substrates.

conditions
Note:
These are typical values and should not be construed as product specification.

Application technique
1. Clean both the surfaces being bonded to ensure that they are clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, oil,
loose particles, or any other contaminants.
2. Cut the Cartridge, insert it into the cartridge gun and fix V-cut nozzle on top.
3. Apply the sealant beads in a zig–zag pattern on one of the substrates with approx.1-inch distance
between each sealant bead.
4. It is recommended to keep a gap of 35 mm at all sides of large panels where sealant will be applied
to avoid any excess material coming out from the edges and to control any visible gap between the 2
bonded surfaces.
5. Align the surfaces together (as per requirement) as quickly as possible and press firmly for 2-3
minutes. Parts can be re-adjusted up to 6 minutes depending upon the temperature.
6. If the conditions are dry (>35 °C, R.H. < 50 %), it is recommended that the sealant beads be exposed
to the atmosphere for 1-2 min before bonding onto other substrate.
7. For putting heavier weights such as glass or stone shelf on wall mounted ‘C’ clamps or brackets,
allow the adhesive to cure overnight before putting the shelves in place.
8. Seal the nozzle with help of a tape. If the bottle is to be re-used, ensure it is done within 24-48 hours
of opening. Cut the nozzle tip to remove cured sealant before re-use.
9. Wash hands with soap & water after product use.

Storage & Shelf life

Store in a cool (< 30 oC) and dry place. Under such storage conditions, the shelf life of the product in
factory sealed pack is 12 months.

Coverage Area: 21 sq ft/cartridge

Temperature resistance post curing: 40-90 °C

Not Recommended:
• For use on PE, PP, PTFE, polycarbonate, silicone rubber and bituminous substrates.

2
• For any material whose thickness is less than 3 mm.
• Not to be used where there is permanent water immersion/submersion or exposure to acids
• Not to be used for high temperature applications such as gasketing.
• Not to be used for gap filling applications.
