We will observe the act of Baptism in our Evening Worship today. This act is the symbolic expression of the change that has taken place in ones life when they receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Baptism does not bring salvation, rather it is a testimony of the salvation that has already been received through Jesus Christ. The act of Baptism is a one time expression of our faith in HIM. If you would like to know more about being baptized feel free to contact me at anytime. Paul FELLOWSHIP CLUB APRIL MEETING Our guest speaker was Carey Knowles from McRae, GA. He did a wonderful job entertaining the crowd of 100 folks who attended. I know you would enjoy these Associational Senior Adult events in the future. They happen regularly on the second Monday of January, April, July and October. Thanks to all the Super FBC Servants who SET-UP FIXED-UP AND CLEANED UP for this event. It would not have happened without your hard work!

Pray that we can make this connection. Thanks to Tammi Godwin and Ray Harrell for leading the Chancel Choir and the Wednesday night singing, respectively. SENIOR ADULT DAY MAY 6 More info to follow in the next few weeks!

WHAT'S UP We have so much ahead of us in the month of April. Please continue to look at the youth web page for upcoming events, deadlines for deposits, and for trip information. In addition to the web page, the information is being announced in Wednesday night service. WHATS NEW Thank you to everyone that participated and help lead the service projects. First Baptist Church Students are on their way to make a difference inside of our community. I am proud to be able to serve with such great kids. You guys are being receptive of the Word and are becoming Doers of the Word. We are all proud of you and I am sure that God is sowing seeds through your efforts. Continue to pray for the Student Ministry and pray that we give Him all the Glory. I am very excited to see some of our students making an effort as an individual, to make a difference. Kelsey Harrells birthday was Friday and she has chosen to do something different this year. She is taking all of her birthday money and sending it to Australia to help feed the hungry and I am asking all of us to join her by making a donation to her. Brian
