Carnival is a very popular festival in Brazil and one of the best known in the world. Despite being celebrated in various ways in every part of Brazil's Carnival celebration has as its main features music, dance, joy and relaxation. Originally the Carnival is a party set up so that people could indulge in food and party before it reached the moment of consecration and fasting that precedes Easter, Lent. So, say that everything can be in the carnival, as the season of Lent is a period of abstinence and penance. People dress extravagantly, eat and drink too much, and this festive occasion as the last chance to "surrender to the pleasures of the flesh." In Brazil the rule in the fun, but each region has very peculiar ways of celebrating this date. Carnival in Rio de Janeiro has the famous parade of the special samba schools in the Sambadrome Avenida Marques de Sapuca, where schools compete for the title of champions. For many people the carnival begins before the official parade, when there are trials where the fun flows freely. In the great days of the official parade of the samba school members dress up in costumes and parade down the avenue. Carnival in Sao Paulo is very similar to Rio de Janeiro, being held at Anhembi Sambadrome. In contrast with the carnival in Sao Paulo and Recife Rio de Janeiro is with the street blocks that touch the folies own pace and define the path to be traveled. Recife is known for the diversity of rhythms that can be chosen to celebrate, as the Frevo, afrox, reggae, samba, among others. In addition, there is the carnival of Olinda, where various people are who make the carnival itself. They usually occur several political satires, which are expressed in the form of marches or the famous giant dolls of Olinda. Salvador is also an option, very lively carnival, telling how the main attractions and the famous electric trios that will always participate in the revelry. Salvador does not have Sambadrome, so the fun is in the streets and revelers can choose from the three paths: Dodo, BarraOndina, Osmar, Avenue, and potato, the Historic Center. For better security of the revelers and the stands are built cabins scattered along the circuit. Well known are the afroxs Salvador, where the manifestation of carnival is linked to an homage to a deity. Thus, the Carnival is a very strong rally in Brazilian culture, however there is a festival celebrated in the same way in all Brazilian regions. People have the freedom to choose how they like to celebrate this fun time, because each region has something to offer.
