1) A square prism side of base 30mm axis length 50mm has its base in the H.P
such that the side base is perpendicular to the V.P. A horizontal cutting plane cuts the prism 15mm below the top base. Draw the F.V. and the sectional T.V
2) A square prism side of base 30mm axis length 50mm has its base in the H.P with two
sides of base parallel to the V.P. It is cut by an auxiliary inclined plane (A.I.P) which bisects the axis and makes an angle 45*to the H.P. Draw the projection of F.V.,Sectional T.V.,sectional S.V. and true shape of a section.
3) A square prism side of base 30mm axis length 50mm has its base in the H.P such that its
sides of base are equally inclined with the V.P. A section plane perpendicular to the V.P. and inclined to H.P. at 45* cuts the prism such that it passes through the point on the axis at a distance of 12mm below the top base. Assume the major part to be retained draw the projection of prism showing the F.V. sectional S.V. and true shape of a section.
4) A cube of 40mm long edge has its vertical base equally inclined to the V.P. It is cut by
the section plane perpendicular to the V.P. so that the true shape of a section is regular hexagon. Determine the inclination of the cutting plane with the H.P. and draw the sectional T.V. and the true shape of a section.
5) A cube of 40mm long edge is resting on one of its face. Its vertical faces are equally
inclined to the V.P. It is cut by an A.I.P. in such a way that the true shape of section is i) A trapezium with two parallel sides of 20mm and 60mm. ii) A triangle with base 50mm an altitude 40mm iii) An equilateral triangle of maximum size iv) A rhombus of maximum size.
6) A hexagonal prism of base 25mm and axis 70mm long has a circular hole of diameter
32mm cut through it, so that the axis of a circular hole coincides with the axis of prism. A hexagonal prism is resting on one of its rectangular surface on the H.P. and the axis of a prism is normal to the V.P. A cutting plane perpendicular to the H.P. and inclined at 30* to the V.P. cuts an axis of hexagonal prism at a point 12mm from its base. Draw the top view, sectional front view and true shape of a section.
7) A hexagonal prism base 35mm and axis 70mm long is resting on one of its base edge on
the ground (H.P.) such that the axis is inclined at angle of 45* to the H.P. perpendicular to the V.P. passes at a distance of 25mm above the base along the axis. Draw F.V., sectional T.V. and true shape of a section.
8) A square pyramid side of base 30mm axis length 50mm has its base in the H.P. and two
of its side of base perpendicular to the V.P. A section plane cuts the pyramid such that it is perpendicular to the V.P. and inclined at 60* to the H.P. and passes through the point on the axis 15mm above the base of a pyramid. Draw the F.V., sectional T.V., sectional S.V. and true shape of a section.

9) A square pyramid side of base 30mm axis length 50mm has its base in the H.P. and two
of its side of base perpendicular to the V.P. A vertical section plane is perpendicular to the H.P. and parallel to the V.P. cuts the pyramid into two equal halves. Draw sectional F.V., sectional S.V.
10) A pentagonal pyramid side of base 40mm axis 75mm long rests vertically on the H.P. with one of its inclined edge parallel to the V.P. It is cut by the plane perpendicular to the V.P. and inclined at 45* to the H.P. such that it bisects the axis. Major part of edge which is parallel to the V.P. is retained. Draw the sectional T.V. and true shape of section. 11)
