Jingle Bells
Santa Claus
Is Coming To Town
You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
Silent night
Away In A Manger
We Three Kings
We three Kings of the Orient are,
Bearing gifts we traverse far
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.
(Melchior)
Born a King on Bethlehem's plain,
Gold I bring to crown Him again;
King forever, ceasing never,
Over us all to reign.
(Caspar)
Frankincense to offer have I;
Incense owns a Deity nigh;
Pray'r and praising, all men raising,
Worship Him, God on high.
(Balthazar)
Myrrh is mine; its bitter perfume
Breathes a life of gathering gloom;
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying.
Seal'd in the stone-cold tomb.

Christmas Tic-
Tic-Tac-
Tac-Toe
Toe
Fun, easy, and perfect for young children! Let them pair up and play as many
times as they want, or challenge them to a playoff where winners play winners until
only one is left standing! With reusable chips, just clear the board when you're
done…and this game could last all day!
How to Play: Play in pairs. Just like traditional tic-tac-toe, each player takes a
turn to place a single chip, trying to get 3 in a row. Print the tokens onto cardstock and
the board (on next page) and laminate for protection, or place in plastic sleeve for protection.

Christmas Activity Book 9
Directions: Put the ornament on the tree (or take it off). Cut out
a 2 foot Christmas tree from green felt. Make the ornament either
free hand, from clip art, or print the ones below. On the back of each
ornament, write a "pretend" sentence. For example, "pretend to brush
your teeth, pretend to drink hot tea." The child gets to pick an
ornament and pretend to do the activity, then put the ornament on the
tree.

Items needed:
• Crushed eggshell for the snow.
• Mineral or baby oil.
• A clear glass jar with a tight fitting lid. (Small round jars like marinated
artichokes or pimientos are packed in work quite well. Craft stores
sometimes have a little taller jar with the same tight fitting lid.
• Paint for the lid. Acrylic Paint works well.
• Glue or a glue gun.
Hard boil an egg (salt in the water makes them easier to peel). Cool the egg in cold
water before removing the shell. Peel the thin layer carefully from inside the shell.
This prevents the shell from floating. Crush the shell well to get small pieces. Use
a rolling pin or a pestle and small bowl which is also used for grinding spices.
Clean the jar and lid thoroughly and dry well. Give the outside of the lid a couple
coats of paint, letting it dry well between coats. Take a bit of fine sandpaper and
lightly sand the inside of the lid so the scene will attach well. Glue your scene to
the inside of the lid and let dry for several hours. Be sure to glue the scene so it will
fit into the jar opening and the lid will close.
Place the jar on a double layer of paper towel and add about ½ tsp. of crushed
eggshell. Pour in the oil, filling to the top, leaving enough space for the scene. If
you don’t fill it enough you will have an air bubble inside. Some oil will spill over
which isn’t a problem. Just wash the globe with dish soap and warm water and dry
well. Twist the lid on tight! Shake well and enjoy. * Glitter can be used instead of
eggshell for the snow. Be sure to get the heavier glitter as the light weight variety
will not fall like snow but float on top of the oil like a cloud.

Christmas Activity Book 9
How to Play: Print as many pages as you need on to cardstock. Each player fills out a card
with 1 or 2 items they wish for, but without their name. Fold up the cards, collect and mix. .
Scoring: Have each player draw a name from the pile and try to guess whose wish it is!
Everything Christmas
Guests race against each other to be the first to name something Christmas related for each letter of the alphabet. Players
each receive a game sheet and try to list something Christmas related for every letter of the alphabet. Time Limit 10 minutes
per game. Scoring: Choose one player's sheet to be used as the answer key. The player with the most correct answers
(matching the answer key), wins. If there is a tie, draw names to find a single winner. Print as many sheets as you need.
