CALL me crazy. I dont care. But I have an insane dream: I want to donate one billion pesos to the Ministry. At least one billion. Possibly more. I can see myself doing it already. Writing a billion peso check. Wouldnt that be cool? Imaginewriting 9 zeros. Ill be putting up a Trust Fund for the Light of Jesus Family worth one billion pesos. That Trust Fund will outlast me. It will be there even after I die. Hows that possible? Because its a Trust Fund, the principal amount wont be touchedjust the interest. But the interest alone, at a mere 4% a year (invested in Treasury Bills) will give the Light of Jesus Family P40 million a yearand every year thereafterif the Trust Fund is one billion. It might take me a few decades to donate a billion. But I know it will happen. Why is this my dream? Because Ive come to realize that the best thing you can do with your money is to give it away. Ive been tithingor giving 10% of my incomeever since I was a kid. Through the years, God has returned to me whatever I gave

Understand that investing your money in eternal ways is guaranteed to pay big dividends, because God has promised to bless gifts faithfully consecrated to Him and use them in ways that bless the givers and others. Dont wait until you feel like giving to actually give. Start giving out of obedience - because you know its what God wants you to do and you want to respond faithfully to God. After you begin to give, God will send you joy, and that joy will motivate you to keep giving. Acknowledge that its God who has given you the Talk with others about how God is using your ability to earn an income, and that all your money is giving to help you grow, and listen to their stories of ultimately His. Commit to managing that money as giving and how theyve grown as a result. Together, celebrate Gods work in your lives. effectively as possible, relying on Gods wisdom.
