Final OJT Report
Final OJT Report
INTRODUCTION
On-the-Job Training or OJT is a method which schools give their students to apply the lessons learned from the school. It aids the students to acquire relevant knowledge and skills through the actual experience in working in the field of their profession. On the companies side, OJT program provides additional manpower with lesser labor cost than a regular employee. Trainees are eager to learn the ropes of the business so cooperation is not a question. Employers can make use of the OJT program as a method in recruiting new employees since the mentor had witnessed the trainees performance, behavior and attitude progress and growth. As for the OJT program for the Interior Design course, the students would be trained by one, two, or three companies in three different categories of the program. Students are required to complete Fifty (50) hours each for the Architecture and Furniture department and One Hundred (100) hours for Interior Design. With these different departments, the students are expected to learn and gain experiences and more knowledge on the actual life and field as an Interior Designer.
