1. Ironside/Farrar Planning application We have contacted North Lanarkshire and Cllr OBrien has contacted Ironside Farrar they have not yet submitted their planning application. The reason given is the lead project manager for Scottish Enterprise is off long term ill. This does seem a little irregular due to the size of the project. We currently have over 300 letters of objection but more would be appreciated. We are little concerned that apathy has now set in. GW does think they will be back with an application during the summer months. The committee has decided not to put up the banners until an application has been submitted when a real push will be required. Posters were put up on the walkways a few weeks ago but were removed within less than 24hrs. The letters are available on our website we have confirmed with North Lanakrshire that residents can just type in their name and address it does not need to be a handwritten signature. Liz Orr recommended that if legal representation was required we should shop around to ensure the best possible deal. As soon as we hear any information we will email everyone, update the website and also put up the banners. .

The main call outs being for unpaid petrol at the local stations and issues on the M80 road traffic. 27 crimes reported and 147 calls . A car was vandalised at the Links window smashed but nothing stolen. Please remember to keep front doors locked and car keys hidden. It was acknowledge that the Eastfield Road can be busy at school drop off times and could people please be considerate in parking. Speeding on Dullatur Road- was reviewed and no offenders were caught. Police will review again. 4. Councillors Update Our new appointed Cllr Alan Masterson attended the meeting and also reappointed Cllr Bob Chadha. Alan introduced himself he has only been in the job a few days he just wanted to meet some people and he will inform us when his surgeries will be. Bob thanked everyone for their participation in the vote as it therefore shows that they care about their community. He will resume his monthly written report and this will be posted in our minutes. We do now have on our website Councillors corner they may send any reports etc for all residents to read. We are an a-political body and therefore show no bias to any party and do not wish our meetings to turn into a political debate they are invited to hear the views and concerns of the community and respond to those. Gordon Murray has now retired it was hoped that he would attend our meeting and we would make a small presentation however, unfortunately he is very ill. . 2of 3
