is this week Thursday, May 31. This is an extended day for the Jr. K. We will not return until 3 PM. Drivers should be on campus by 9 AM. We plan to leave around 9:15 AM.

Does your child have a favorite book he/she would like read in class? Or would you like to come in and read a story to us? Send (or bring) it in and well take turns reading books of your childs choosing.
If your child would like pizza and a soda at the Yearbook Signing Pizza Party on June 6 at 3:30 PM you will need to send $3 by Wednesday, May 30. This is an optional event for those who purchased yearbooks for their children. The School-wide Wedding Shower for our teachers Miss Meyer (4th grade) and Mr. Fillner (8th grade) is Wednesday, May 30, at 2:15 PM. Parents are welcome to attend.
Complete Reading Charts are due Thursday of this week or whenever 20 boxes have been filled in.
Sonshine Station is chugging down the line on Saturday, June 2, from 10-Noon. Climb

continue to make hypotheses about how the world around them is working. Last week we saw the wisdom in Gods design for the egg. Four half shells were able to hold up 43 coloring books before collapsing! They were much stronger than we expected! They didnt all collapse until we reached 65 books! We also worked with static electricity as we rubbed balloons on our heads to see if we could make spices and rice cereal jump to the balloon. What a fun world God has made for us to explore!
Congratulations to Layla for winning the Who-Can-Wear the Most Pockets contest. With a little help from Grandma she wore 44 pockets that day! Woody came in a
commendable second place with 21 pockets and lollipops for everyone.
