News From Room 207

Week of 5/28/12
Happy Memorial Day! I hope you have been able to get outside and enjoy this incredible weather. I have had a very busy extended weekend with two days in Lowell and Shrewsbury at crew meets with my daughter, a Memorial Day parade this morning and then off to the NCAA Lacrosse Championships with my family this afternoon. The weekend couldnt be much more perfect. I would like to invite you to our Wax Museum this Friday morning from 9:10-9:50AM. Final speech note cards are due on Thursday, May 30th. A part of homework for this week will be for your children to practice their speeches at home. Your children may bring in their costumes and change at school or come to school on Friday dressed as their character. Please be sure your child has their speech note cards with them . We hope you will be able to join us. Our Pen Pal lunch will also be on Friday. Your child will need a bag lunch, sunscreen and comfortable shoes as we are walking to the town center to meet our buddies. Everyone who would like to chaperone is welcome to join us and help facilitate conversations with our buddies. If it rains, we will not go. I am looking for a parent willing to drive up popsicles for us to eat after lunch. I am looking forward to a great week. Warmly,
