If you manufacture, import, or use chemicals, or import articles,
the pre-registration period 1 June – 1 December 2008
is a critical time for your business

What is pre-registration?
According to REACH most chemicals (chemical substances)
must be pre-registered.

The time window is only: 1 June – 1 December 2008

What happens if I don’t pre-register?


If you fail to pre-register a chemical you cannot continue
manufacturing or importing it after 1 December 2008
until you have registered it with the European Chemicals
Agency (ECHA).

Who should pre-register?
