Our Priests Continue to Languish!

Would you or someone that you know like to cook on a part time basis at our rectory? Cook in a beautiful new air-conditioned kitchen for the dear Fathers of our parish. Our priests need a hot meal cooked and served to them several times a week to sustain their frail hungry bodies. How else can they be expected to keep up with all the spiritual needs of our parish! So please dont delay to contact us, our priests are getting weaker by the minute our parish needs them! All kidding aside, a part time cook is needed at the rectory. If interested, please call the rectory at 908-464-7600 or email [email protected].

Archbishops Annual Appeal Making a Difference

Each year, the Archdiocese of Newarks Office of Family Life Ministries prepares approximately 2,800 couples for marriage in the Catholic Church. The preparation includes: Pre-Cana Sessions, God's Plan for a Joy-Filled Marriage Seminars, Natural Family Planning as well as Engaged Encounter Retreat experiences. This is in addition to the preparation that couples have with a priest or deacon who prepares them for the Sacrament. While Spanish is the most common of the foreign languages for Pre-Cana, the program is also offered in Portuguese, Polish, Korean, and Italian as well as for those with Special Needs and for the Deaf. The U.S. Census reports the Northeast has the lowest divorce rates in the country and New Jersey has the lowest divorce rate in the United States. While some may see the Archdiocese's formation requirements as stringent, these requirements are certainly paying dividends. The Office of Family Life Ministries continues to support married couples each year with anniversary Masses, presided by Archbishop Myers. This is in addition to days of reflection for married couples, as well as retreats such as Marriage Encounter that help married couples continue to live the grace of the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
