Water on earth moves in a continuous cycle. This is called THE WATER CYCLE. There is about the same amount of water on earth now that there was when the dinosaurs roamed our planet.
EVAPORATION
Where does the water go after it forms puddles on the pavement?
PRECIPITATION
Rain develops when growing cloud droplets become too heavy to remain in the cloud and as a result, fall toward the surface as rain. Rain can also begin as ice crystals that collect each other to form large snowflakes.
When rain or snow falls onto the earth, it just doesn't sit there -- it starts moving generally at a downward angle ( laws of gravity). Runoff is extremely important action of erosion. in that not only does it keep rivers and lakes full of water, but it also changes the landscape.
Explain the difference in weather and climate. Climate is the average Weather pattern weather usually describes the taken over a 30-year time period for a particular short-term state region and time period. of the Climate is not the same as weather, but rather, it is atmosphere.
