Final Presentation On Energy Audit

This document summarizes an energy audit presentation of the PSWR headquarters office complex in Nagpur. It outlines the objectives, methodology, findings, and recommendations of the audit. Key findings included air conditioning accounting for 85% of energy consumption, poor power factor, and high indoor carbon dioxide levels. Short-term recommendations were to install capacitors and power factor controllers, replace water-cooled air conditioners with air-cooled units to eliminate the cooling tower, and use ozonizers to improve indoor air quality. Long-term recommendations included installing a rooftop solar power system and replacing fluorescent lights with LEDs.

Long Term Suggestions

This suggestions are in line with Recommendation of Meeting of BHELs Apex Committee on Energy Management Dated 31st December 2009
1. Exploring installation of Grid Interactive

Solar Power Unit on the rooftop

2. Replacing all the old Tube lights with CFL or LEDs. (The BHEL Board on the rooftop can be immediately changed to LED types.)
