Its annual operation costs the City P50 to P70 million not including the expenses incurred by barangays who assist in the collection..

Waste Segregation

Black
Recyclable or reusable items.

Tin cans, bottles and papers.

Green
Biodegradable wastes. Garbage that can easily decompose. Left-over foods, fruits, vegetables, peelings, dried leaves and branches.

Yellow
Bio-hazardous or infectious wastes which could really be very harmful to the community. Syringe, cotton, gauze disposable cups, forks, spoons, plastic food bags and human wastes.

Such as glasses, fabrics, heavy metals and chemicals.

Orange
Radio active materials

Sharps and needles

To actually segregate your wastes at HOME, you will only need three plastic bags - GREEN, BLACK and YELLOW.
