DFS:
Access Control
Provides operations for creating, getting, updating, and deleting ACL objects
Analytics
Provides support for document-category matching
Comment
Provides functionality to create, update, retrieve comments associated with a data object
Lifecycle
Provides operations for runtime use of lifecycles (e.g. attaching/detaching objects to lifecycles, moving
objects from one lifecycle state to another, examining lifecycles associated with objects)
Query Store
Provides fundamental operations for listing, creating, updating, loading saved queries
Task Management (WS-HumanTask)
Provides operations for listing process related tasks and also take actions on those tasks (e.g.
forward, reject, suspend, delegate)
Virtual Document
Provides operations for managing virtual documents (e.g. retrieval, add/remove/reorder nodes,

Compliance Services:
Policy Server
Provides the operations for retrieving information about policies, applying a policy to an object and
removing the policy from an object.
Formal Record Service
Provides functionality to create formal records by declaring one or more source objects as a formal
record to a file plan location of choice.
Retention Markup Service
Provides functionality to apply one or more retention markups to objects that are retained in a
repository.
Physical Records Library Service
Provides functionality to generate user requests for physical objects and to look at listings of the
physical objects requested.
Federated Proxy Service
The Federated Proxy Service provides the ability for enterprises to centrally manage the retention of
simple content objects held in managed repositories external to the Documentum repository
Electronic Signature (eSignature) Service
Provides functionality for dispersing sign off notifications and for obtaining online signatures, in the form
of electronic signatures.

Locating SAP objects which are related to a specific document
