In previous generator control panels, relay are used in conjunction with switches to make a logic panel to protect the engine and generator.

The EMCP uses a similar type of logic but a microprocessor GSC performs the functions of all the relays and timers used before. They are : EMCP I , EMCPII, EMCPII +, EMCPII + P

Modes of Operation

Activate EG relay oil press=set point for low oil press. Start or remote signal
Note: -FCR energize to run (K4, K5, K7) or to stop (K4, K5) -The relay status on the relay status indicators of the lower display. K1, K3, K5, K7 for ETR ; K1, K3, K5 for ETS
Deactivate RR & EGR oil press<set point for low oil press.
* Note: The relay status on the relay status indicators of the lower display. all relays are Off except on ETS K7 indicator remain On for 70 sec after 0 rpm and oil press is also 0
