Objectives
At the end of 1hour discussion, 75% of the grade 1 pupils are expected to:

a. Identify the addends and the sum of addition; b. shows cooperation; and c. Add the following objects and numbers.

II. Subject Matter


Topic: Addition Materials: Multimedia presentation, basket, flash cards Skills: Adding Numbers

III. Procedure A. Motivation The teacher presents a mathematical song to the pupils.

B. Presentation The teacher presents a tree which have a fallen leaves on the ground.
C. Discussion Let the students/pupils count the number of leaves fallen on the right side and on the left side of the tree. They will identify what are the addends and what is the sum based on the presentation given.
