Challenges faced by business communication students

Abstract we conducted a questionnaire from 30


students from 2 different courses to find out the
challenges they face while completing the project.
And the ways they transformed those challenges into
opportunity to effectively work together and
successfully amalgamate the objectives in their
project.
Our main goal is to interact and obtain information
from different people and convert it into some
meaningful pattern. The project will help us learn
about the art and skills for successful project
completion

Conflict management
Task organization
It is the leaders job to make sure that the instructions
are clear
Analysis: The results of this question
show that majority of the people, i.e
43% people strongly agree with the
statement and 37% agree to it. This
clearly shows that the students
believe the leader plays an important
role and it is his job to guide the
members and clear them about the
instructions.
Analysis: The results in
the graph shows that
most of the students, i.e
28 people out of the
sample of 30 agree that
regular feedback should
be ensured to avoid
communication problem
whereas, only two
students, which is the 7%
of our sample size are
neutral
Analysis: The results show that
majority of the people agree to
the statement. However, 30%
of the sample size is neutral
about it and only 13% of the
students disagree to it.

Analysis: The results show that there is a
lot of variation in students answers. Most
of the people believe the reasons for delay
in project completion are due to group
conflicts.
23% of the people feel it is due to
communication problems.
21% feel it is due to time management
issues.
19% think it is due to work load .
Analysis: The
results show that
70% of the
students we
asked had
attended the
leadership
conference.
However, the
remaining 30% of
the students did
not attend the
conference.
Bc1 and BC 2 courses should be revamped to
be more effective in solving group conflicts
Equal work distribution in groups to avoid
group conflicts
Structured work plan.


Despite the availability of many courses and
widespread knowledge about importance of
time management to achieve the goal of
effective and successful project completion.
Meeting the deadlines continue to be a
challenge faced by business students .focus
leadership, conflict management and clear
instructions about the task to be completed
facilitates the deadline to be met efficiently also
improving greatly the quality of work. Therefore
