The human resource department has to
decide if extra units need to be produced
due to excess demand then how many daily
wage workers need to be appointed.

Whether an worker has to work overtime
and how much pay will the worker get that
decision is taken by human resource.

Short Term Decisions

Performance Appraisal Decision


The decision will come after effect of this
method to decide the compensation
packages and raise in salaries.

Medium Term Decisions


Budgeting Decision
The cost that will be incurred on Training and
Development , workplace facilities ,
Recruitment and Selection etc. , how much cost
will be incurred on these activities.

Recruitment Decision
If any new employees need to be recruited then
a recruitment decision has to be made this is
because if the company is expanding It will
need more number of employees.

Long Term Decisions


Remaining Competitive
HR decision making involves developing
policies and strategies that will keep a
business competitive in a cutthroat global
business environment.
Ethics
Ethics in human resources entails making
decisions about what is acceptable and
unacceptable with regard to an
organization's personnel.
