Synopsis
INTERACTIVE MEDIA

emphasizes on interactivity techniques and


composition. Besides providing a comprehensive explanation of the
meaning and the content of multimedia, students also have the opportunity
to learn methods of organizing content and designing interfaces. The
products of interactive CD-ROM for variety purposes content are to be
created as the students final project.

Students are required to prepare a writing proposal
for final project of DVG3022 INTERACTIVE
MEDIA course in producing an interactive
application.
Student is also needs to conduct a Survey/Research
related to the chosen topic. The
report/documentation MUST include an interface
design research and media component that is
related to the topic.

Students are required to design an interactive media

flowchart, storyboard, character design,


navigation button, interface design and
media component that is related to the topic
chosen.

The report/documentation must be compile together


with Survey & Research.

Interactive Flash Mini Project
Students are required to create 3 different
screen designs for the topic chosen (for
the main menu) and 1 screen for quiz
/activity (Refer to Storyboard in Studio
Work 1).
Your design should implements various
animation techniques we have studied in
class.

FINAL PROJECT 30%

Students are needed to produce an interactive media


application using suitable softwares.
Develop the contents, structure the information and
design the layout and interface.
Prepare and integrate the entire media components,
execute the navigational structure, implement the
scoping and submit the final project within the given
timeline.

You MUST present your final output in the class.
