principles and tools introduced in class. You may
choose to visualize some information relevant to
your argument, some aspect of your analysis, or
the shape/structure of your argument itself.

convincing way using your information
visualisation as an aid.

Find a debate/discussion that is ongoing and to which you wish to


contribute. Research the topic making use of academic sources and
write your argument. You must write your argument from the
position of an informed university undergraduate student and as
such will need to make use of academic conventions such as in-text
referencing and incorporating other's ideas into your work in a way
that avoids plagiarism. You must use at least 3 academic
sources/texts in your argument.

The University Grants Council (UGC) has


called for student proposals to promote
internationalisation on campus.

You have been tasked with the following


questions:

1) What will your definition of


internationalisation be?

2) What is wrong/not good enough about


internationalisation on campus now?

3) What can we do to improve it?

Steps for making an infographic:


1) Develop your argument.
2) Think of ways to show your argument what
facts/information will you need?
3) Collect information to support your argument. Check relevant
websites / university library for facts/statistics/quotes.
4) What could the counter-arguments be? What could your
opponents say? Think of how you could use your information
to address these.
