Venue Construction

So far, we have opened two venues, Xi San Qi Rink and Sha He Training
Center. At the end of January, we will open the Ice Star International
Hockey Park, which would be our main venue for our tournament and
has four rinks. We will have another 4 rinks built by the National Olympic
Park finished before July 2016. We will provide the best Ice Sports
facilities to our participating teams, clubs and communities.

5 on 5 play (5 players plus a goalie)


All games for U14, 2004, 2005 and 2006 will have 3 periods
of 12 minutes STOP time. There will be a 3 minute warm-up
and 1 minute break between periods. For 2007, 2008 and
2009 games will have three periods of 10 minutes STOP time.
All the games will need to be decided If games are tied at the
end of regulation,, the shootout will occur. Each team will get
3 shooters and if the score is till tied then a sudden death
shootout will apply.
We will release game structure details based on the number
of applications confirmed. We will have robin round and
playoff round. We will use IIHF 3 points system to decide the
ranking in the robin round. At least 7 games guaranteed for
each team
Except U14 games, all games will use two referees
All the stats will released on the website.
Teams must have matching socks and a dark and light set of
jerseys. In case of a color conflict, organizers will have final
say to determine which team will change.
Tier-Break: Head to Head, Fewest Goals Against, Fewest PIM,
Greater Goal Differential and Most Goals Scored, followed by
a puck toss

Enforcement and
Safety

ID-Check, all team leaders have to attend the pretournament meeting and bring all players ID to do the IDCheck.
Player ID passes will be made and handed out during the
Hotel Check-in. Teams have to do the game check in at least
45 minutes before each game. The player ID passes must
accompany the players to all their games. Any players
without ID passes will not be allowed to play.
All players on the ice are required to wear proper equipment,
including neck guards (mouth guards are strongly
recommended). A 2 minute minor penalty will be assessed
for a first time offense and a 10 minute misconduct for a
second offense.
Body contact is only allowed in the U14 division.

We will provide Olympic Standard Reception


for all International (visiting) teams
We will provide each team with 17 standard 4 star
hotel rooms for free (July 29-August 9th).
No Registration fee.

All the International teams have to Check-in to the


hotel before 4PM July 30th and prepare the Opening
Ceremony.
We will provide all teams with transportation from
Airport-Hotel-Tournament and throughout the event
as well as for sightseeing.
We will provide a Translator (Club).

All international teams have to fill-in the


application form and send it to the following email
address:
Calculate extra hotel rooms and days for request
Have to pay $3000 USD security deposit before
May 1st for your room reservations and extra
service booking, all the deposit will return to your
transaction account 7 business days after
tournaments conclude
All the extra service include the extra rooms and
extended stay has to be paid full before July 10th,
or all the reservation will be lost.
Tourist Visa is required and invitation will be
provided for Visa application.
