USE 1 "WILL" TO EXPRESS A VOLUNTARY


ACTION

Will" often suggests that a speaker will do something voluntarily

USE 2 "WILL" TO EXPRESS A PROMISE

I promise I will not tell him about the surprise party.

Be going to" expresses that something is a plan. It expresses the idea that a person
intends to do something in the future. It does not matter whether the plan is realistic or
not.

On my next vacation, Im going to stay in a nice hotel in Paris.

Her current contract ends in December, so shes going to look for a new job.

Davids going to meet me at the airport. He said he would be there at 8:00. -
