PURPOSE OF ASSESSMENT / ROLE OF ASSESSOR

The purpose of this assessment is to evaluate


your competence in accordance with competency
standards prescribed by the industry. If you can
perform all the units in accordance with the
standard criteria, your competence will be
recognized and certified thru a NATIONAL
CERTIFICATE (NC) III in BOOKKEEPING.

EXPLAIN ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE: TASK TO BE
PERFORMED, TIME ALLOTTED

Assessment shall be based on the units of competency in


the Training Regulations and Evidence Plan and shall focus
on the following evidence gathering methods:
1.Written Test (1 hour)
2.Demonstration with Oral Questioning (4 hours)

At the end of the assessment, feedback on the results will


be provided.
The feedback shall indicate whether you are:

One of the features of competency assessment is the


REASONABLE ADJUSTMENT, Reasonable
adjustments are designed to ensure that all people
are treated equally in the assessment process. For
example, this may involve translating written
instructions into local dialect for candidates from non-
English speaking backgrounds or providing
instructions orally rather than in writing for candidate
with limited language skills.
