Self Referencing

A less common form of assessment is called Self-Referencing or Ipsative Assessment. Unlike in norm-referencing, and criterion-referencing, in self-referencing, we do not compare the individual's score with that of other individual's score, nor do we compare it to an external standard of performance. We simply compare the current score of the individual with his/her previous score, or other scores.
