The automatic vent valve
For our Coriolis meter we dont need any strainers for all of the refined
products.
Strainers are used normally to protect:
Mechanical meters (PD meters)
Valves
Filtration of the product
Volume provers (piston typ)
We use in our project following strainers:
Y- Type strainer
Control valve
Ball type
Used for pressure and flow
control
Very low pressure loss when

Solution by Endress+Hauser
Endress & Hauser investigated the Preemraff needs and advised not
only to replace the turbine meters, but also to include flow computers
and the OPC connectivity to their Honewell Experion PKS system.
Preemraff awarded Endress & Hauser with the order for the following
reasons:

Simple errors can make huge delays and decrease your safety.
We guarantee smooth start-up and operation of metering skids within
time and budget.
Calibration certificate for the truck weight scale must be available for
the verification process
Prepare enough pumps for the requested flow rate
Prepare enough trucks for smooth batching (filled truck must be
weighted and then offloaded via the meter under test)
