principles and etiquette with
manners, although both govern the
way people behave.

Etiquetteis the accepted code of


behaviour among people in a group
or society.
Basic rules to follow:
Think before you send.
If you send an email or post a
message in anger, it could come back
to haunt you later.
Don'tsend messages that could
be misinterpreted as
threatening or hurtful.
Follow the conventions of
writing when sending formal
emails or posting comments
online.

Respect others' right to privacy.
