Bureaucratic organizations aim to be rational and efficient through standardized processes, hierarchies, and rules. They are well-suited for large organizations that require consistency and uniform procedures across many people. A key aspect is a hierarchy with distinct levels of authority and oversight. Rigid adherence to rules and policies is also important to ensure fairness and remove bias. While bureaucracy can slow decisions to conform to procedures, it provides structure, predictability, and equal treatment for all members of an organization.

• A specialized system and process of maintaining uniformity or
authority within an organization
• It is a way to manage large numbers of people, that all need to work
cohesively together for a greater good or purpose.
