Advantages in Region

 Its characteristics give the rating of the largest natural deep water port of the
Eastern coast of Africa.
 It is connected to rail and road networks serving the North of Mozambique,
Malawi and Zambia.

Advantages in the World

 It offers exceptional seaworthy due to its geographical position and its


proximity to the main international markets and is on the route of the main
cargo such as coal, fruit, agricultural products and oil.

 Handling Capacity 11 TEUs/hour,

 Storage capacity 5,722 TEUs/year (RS);

 Increase capacity handling to 170,000 TEUs/year (70%);
