Mega Structures: Overview On Gate Captial: Gandipet, Hyderabad - 500 075, India

Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi is the world's furthest leaning man-made tower at an 18 degree lean. It uses a diagrid structural system of triangular steel beams to absorb wind and seismic forces, requiring less steel than a conventional skyscraper. The tower was constructed on a deep concrete base filled with reinforced steel and supported by 490 underground piles. It reached its final height of 160 meters in 2009 and was certified by Guinness World Records as the furthest leaning man-made tower.
