Smartphones have started being used in language education and research has shown this can be an effective way to increase student motivation. Using mobile phones for language learning allows students to practice English in their daily routine and develop skills over time. Teaching elements that students find interesting, such as the scientific names and life cycles of bugs, can enhance cognitive engagement and encourage further learning.
