Timber shall be of the kind as specified may be teak , shisham,sal,deodar etc.
Seasoning of Timber shall be in accordance with IS 1141. The timber
shall be free from decay, fungal growth, pitch pockets, streaks on the exposed edges, borer holes, splits and cracks. All members shall be straight without any warp or bow and shall have smooth, well planed edges at right angles to each other Sizes of Frames (Unless shown differently on drawings) Door Frame: 140 x 65 mm Window/Ventilator Frame: 100 x 50 The general tolerance allowed shall be + 3 mm
