he FLL is a STEAM competition, NOT a
robot competition. The FLL also focuses on the ATTITUDE of the teams. The 4 parts of FLL
The FLL has 4 parts:
1 Core Values; 2 Research Project; 3 Robot Design; 4 Robot Game. Core Values We are a team. We do the work to find solutions with guidance from our coaches and mentors. We know our coaches and mentors don’t have all the answers; we learn together. We honor the spirit of friendly competition. Core Values What we discover is more important than what we win We share our experiences with others. We display Gracious Professionalism™ and Coopertition™ in everything we do. We have fun. Core Values Gracious Professionalism: Respect your team members at all times. Respect others as demonstrated by your actions. Recognize that friendly competition and mutual gain are possible on and off the field. Make a valued contribution with special knowledge that society entrusts us to use responsibly. FLL Robot Challenge Missions Missions can include, push, pull, engage, collect, redistribute, or target launching tasks.
