This study analyzed data from 100 high school students to evaluate whether there is a correlation between breakfast consumption and weight status. Results showed that 67 students consumed breakfast while 15 did not, and 44 students were overweight while 40 were normal weight. There was no significant statistical difference between students who were overweight and those who did not consume breakfast. The study concluded that while most students consumed breakfast and had a normal weight, quality of breakfast and definitions of breakfast need to be better defined in future research.
