when grinding or cutting.
Do not grind with a cutting

Unplug grinder and use
appropriate spanners to
change discs.
Have a fire extinguisher with
you when doing “hot” work.
WELDING & FLAME CUTTING

Check welding and flame-cutting


equipment before use. Only qualified
persons to use welders and cutting
torches. Have a fire extinguisher at
the place where hot work is being
performed. Ensure the safety of other
people in the area.
