*Math –When we return from the break we will begin our new Math: Complete 30 minutes on either Khan
unit on Geometry. We will be learning about Symmetry, lines, line Academy or DreamBox.
segments, rays, angles, parallel and perpendicular lines, and
classifying quadrilaterals and triangles. Our test will be on Friday,
March 8th. If your child is on Lexia or Reading Plus, please
have them work on this at home.
* Reading –We will begin looking at firsthand and secondhand
accounts.
Read 20 minutes/night
* Writing –We will continue working on our Informational
Writing for the nine weeks. We will begin drafting our writing.

* Grammar –We will learn about quotations and punctuating Vocabulary Quiz Friday, 3/1 on weeks 5 & 6!
using quotation marks correctly.
After tomorrow – students will have the
* Social Studies – We will begin learning about the Civil words. We will do the synonyms and
