COCONUT WATER
EXTRACTING MACHINE
The coconut is kept on the holding device. The punching tool will be moved
upward and downward as per the need with the help of liver. While making
the hole in the coconut, move the lever downward. This will make a hole on
the coconut. Now move the lever in upward direction in order to remove the
punching tool from coconut. Now the coconut is ready to serve. In case of
cutting the coconut into two halves, the splitting tool will be used.

Advantages:
1) Less effort is required to perform the whole operation of punching the hole
in the coconut.
2) No skilled person is required to perform operation.
3) Causes of accidents during the operation are completely eliminated.
4) Task of vendor or seller becomes easy.
5) As sell increases, profit for vendor will increase.
6) Waiting time for customer is reduced.
7) With the help of this machine, new entrepreneur can easily start his
business.
Design and Fabrication of
Punch
The tender Cum
coconut is placed on theSplitter For theTender
holder ring, once actuated air compressor
supplies the compressed air to the pneumatic cylinder then by operating a solenoid
valve by pull button the Pneumatic cylinder containing a punching bit makes a hole in
downward direction and move back by operating push button of valve. After consuming
it’s water it is placed on other side of the frame for slicing operation. The cutting blade
is mounted to the another pneumatic cylinder by pressing a pull button of the solenoid
valve the cutting blade slices the tender coconut into two halves which is ready to eat
the kernel and by pressing the push button of the solenoid valve the cutting blade
return to its original position.

Advantages:
No man effort required
Less fatigue due to power operated
Hygenique process
Easy to operate
Low maintainance
Cost is low

Disadvantages:
Separate pneumatic arrangement should be made
Solenoid operating mechanism included may leads to design complexity
DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF TENDER
COCONUT CUTTING MACHINE

The basic principle of the project is to apply the pressure to cut and punch
the coconuts. Initially coconut is placed in the circular box. After that lever is
attached to closed coil .The pressure is applied on the lever to punch the
coconut. After removing pressure lever comes to original position by tension
of spring. After removing the water coconut is placed in that rectangular
tray. Apply the pressure On the lever to cut the coconut by the use of knife It
is faster than the existing traditional method.

Advantages:
Human effort is almost eliminated and also productivity is increased.
The device can be easily assembled and dismantled.
Spare parts (Bolts & Nuts) can be replaced with the use of simple tools.
High efficiency compared to traditional method of punching and
splitting.
Easy to operate with minimum skill level.
Product cost is reasonably economical for tender coconut vendors.
 Handle is such that it can suit the operator to operate both sitting and
standing positions.
DEVELOPMENT OF MULTIPURPOSE
COCONUT CUTTING MACHINE.
The young coconut is hold in position on the top face of screw jack.
The drill tool is fixed on the top of the frame. Next the screw jack is
lifted up with the help of handle. It will move the jack in upward
direction. the threads are strong enough to lift the coconut even after
tool restrict the motion. Due to the lifting force of screw jack the hole
will get drilled in the young coconut and water will be ready to use.
After this if we change the dill with blade and repeat the same
procedure we will get cut that young coconut in to two halves. The
procedure is simple enough that we can commercialize the process.

ADVANTAGEOUS
1. It reduces time to cut the coconut.
2. It improved the quality cutting of the coconut.
3. Number of coconuts can be cuts and hole out with this
machine at time.
4. Less space is required due to its compact size.
5. It is a portable machine.

Expected Outcome of the Project
The machine can be operated easily.
The machine is expected to suck water
from coconut.
The machine will punch and sucks the
water from coconut and collects in a tank.
The result are concluded by measuring
number of coconut being sucked by the
machine per hour.
