Conclusion
Concrete the construction material is a proportionate
combination of ingredients such as cement, fine
aggregates, course aggregates and water. Due to rapid
growth in construction activity, the available sources of
natural aggregates are getting exhausted. Also, good
quality sand may have to be transported from long
distance, which adds to the cost of construction.
Therefore, it is necessary to replace natural aggregates
in concrete by recycled aggregate either partially or
completely without compromising the quality of
concrete. The present study is aimed at utilizing
recycled aggregates and use of it in various applications.
