Outcome-Based Education: Maureen Mae E. Mana-Ay Dit 1-A

Outcome-based education is an educational theory that bases each part of an educational system around goals called outcomes. The key principles of OBE are to focus on intended learning outcomes, provide expanded opportunities for students to achieve outcomes, set high expectations for all students to succeed, and design the curriculum backwards from the outcomes. OBE requires organizing the entire educational system, including the curriculum, instruction, and assessment, to ensure students achieve the intended learning outcomes by the end of their educational experience.
