Task Breakdown
 Associated with each task are a set of questions or
instructions (1, 2, 3 Etc.) required to complete the
task. Note: Your answers to these questions must
relate to the scenario.
 Associated with each tasks is a statement of which
learning outcomes you should be demonstrating, and
what is required to demonstrate them successfully

approaches to leadership in Rays of Sunshine based on the
following guidelines:

1) Define, compare and analyse the roles and characteristics of


both managers and leaders, highlighting the differences
between management and leadership. Different
management and leadership theories should be referenced

b) Identify some of the qualities that you think that a successful student has
c) Explain how the qualities you mention contribute to making a student
successful

Example 2 : Computers have had a significant impact on education. Discuss


the changes they have made.

Task word: requires an answer that identifies and explains a computers


Content word: impact on education
Limiting word: requires an answer that focuses on computers and education

To answer this question you must:


a) Be clear on what you mean by education
b) Identify the ways in which computers can be used in education
c) Explain how computer use has changed the way that education is
understood/taught.

Example 3: Evaluate the impact of gang membership on teenagers in inner


city London.

Task word: requires an answer that offers an opinion on the merits or


demerits of something, in light of the facts.
Content word: requires an answer that focuses on gang membership
Limiting word: requires an answer that limited to teenagers and inner cities

To answer this question you must:


a) Define what a gang is
b) Identify and explain a few ways in which being in a gang can impact a teen
c) Says whether or not you think that gang membership is good, bad, or
some combination of the both
