AGONSA
1. Mang Caloy cut four pieces of bamboo. The
first piece was 0.75 m, the second was 2.278 m,
third was 6.11 and the fourth was 6.72 m. How
much longer were third and fourth pieces if put
together than the first and second pieces?
2. Annie bought 13.6 litres and 51.51 litres 0f

gas in each of 2 consecutive weeks. Her total


consumption of gas in 3 weeks is 145.27 litres.
How much gas did she consume in the third
week?

APPLICATION: (WORK BY
PAIR)
◦ The Samahang Kabataan agreed to
have fund raising by selling raffle
tickets. The President remitted Php
255.75, the treasurer Php 275.50
and the other officers Php 495.75
as sells of the tickets. If they spend
