SKIN
 Skin is the outermost and one of the largest and most complex organs of
the human body.

 It is the first line of the body's immune defense against infectious


organisms. It helps to keep our body from dehydration, helps to keep us at
the right temperature, serves as an organ of sensation (touch), protects us
from ultraviolet radiation and synthesizes vitamin D from sunlight.

 It is the largest organ of the body, about 16% of total body weight.

 There are three structural layers of skin: epidermis, dermis and


subcutaneous layer.
AIM & OBJECTIVE
 The aim of present work was to formulate and evaluate the peel
off mask preparation containing herbal active ingredient i.e.
grapefruit extract.

 In this study an attempt will be made to develop an peel off


mask,
 To give moisturizing effect.
 To remove blackhead and whitehead.
 To make the skin look smoother and tight.
 Help to improve the appearance.
PEEL OFF MASK
Peel off mask is a filming agent, attached to the facial skin so

that when the mask is dry, will form a thin film layer. When

released, dead skin cells and dirt in pores will come apart with

a layer of the film.

Conclusion

Batch F3 showed a good psychorheological characteristics,

pH, spreadability, stickiness, homogeneity and free radical


scavenging activity. Prepared peel off mask found to be
very effective and protect skin from pollution damage and
fulfill the ideal requirements for peel off mask
