Strategies Implemented:

1. Regular patrolling within the Forest Conservation

Areas (FCA);
2. Close coordination with the Local Government Unit
(from Provincial to Barangay LGU) and other Law
enforcement agencies e.g. PNP, Philippine Army;
3. Strengthening of the Multi-sectoral Forest Protection
Council (MFPC);
4. Creation of Provincial Anti-Illegal Logging Task Force
(AILTF) – formulated a partnership agreement for the
intensified anti-illegal logging campaign for the
province of Quirino. (Provincial Governor, PNP, DILG,
DENR, PA 56th IB, DOJ); and
5. Collaboration with the Provincial Government in
conducting IEC regarding Forest Protection Program

during “I Love Quirino Caravan”
ans to Enhance Environmental Protection:
1. Empower communities within the
Forest Conservation Area (FCA)
through intensive IEC;
2. Maintain close coordination with the
LGUs and other law enforcement
agencies; and
3. Strategic deployment of FPOs in
recurring hot spots.
