Oil Spills
Oil spills often happen because of
accidents, when people make
mistakes or equipment breaks down.
Other causes include natural
disasters or deliberate acts.
Oil spills have major environmental
and economic effects. Oil spills can
also affect human health.
What do you think about
the problem?
I believe that the problem of the oil spill is something that
affects us directly to all human beings, because thanks to
this the production of healthy fish is affected, many lose
their jobs, a lot of money is spent in the recovery of these
resources, besides it is very difficult to drain from the sea
this type of highly toxic chemicals and many animals die
in the oceans and outside them.
What would be a possible solution for it?

It is evident that humanity will never  Kevin Costner's solution

yet to be controlled and affected 16 communities in the
department of Santander.
More than 1000 animals were rescued from the largest
spill in recent times in the country, caused by the
outcrop of 24,000 barrels of oil.
What will you do in the future to help solve this problem?

What I can do it´s to inform all the comunity about the


risk we have and what to do in case that we have an
issue like that in our country.
I will Investigate further about how to replace oil to
another product.
