THE CRUCIAL 10 STEPS
 Team players must always be committed to their cause
 Good team players must ensure that they are always there when
needed
 Must always contribute as much as possible
 Must also will make time and effort with the others in the work
space.

SHOWING GENUINE COMMITMENT


 Don’t watch your other colleagues do work! Contribute!
 Always be ready with unpredictable situations.
 Great team players are always there when needed.

BE FLEXIBLE
 Don’t sit quietly and et your work done alone.
 Always refer to other colleagues!
 As long as you don’t ask questions that you can easily refer the
internet, always ask when in doubt!
 Every time presenting a question, we must be able to present the
idea clearly.

DON’T STAY IN THE SHADOWS.


 Good team players must always set their priority first!
 Make sure you know what to do first, and what to do last.
 Make sure you gain the trust of other colleagues by being reliable
and responsible with your work!
 Always ask the person in charge on which work to prioritize.

BE RELIABLE AND RESPONSIBLE


 As a good team player, you must always be considerate to your
collegues viewpoints and ideas. Be respectful towards their ideas!
 A team that is successful is a team where every idea is heard!
Therefore you can reach maximum potential of your team!
 Even if you don’t initially agree, don’t prepare any counter
remarks just yet. Just listen, and consider what they’re saying and
more importantly, why they believe that.

ACTIVELY LISTEN
 Communication is important in a good team.
 Always share your opinion on something without trying to take full
credit on it.
 Planning for your own success is important, but whether you get
promoted may have a lot to do with how you communicated
with your team members.

KEEP YOUR TEAM INFORMED


 Always be generous with points and tips with your team
members.
 Sometimes our strength is someone else’s weakness, and our
weakness is some one else’s strength.

ALWAYS BE READY TO HELP


 It is important to become more self-aware of how you treat
others.
 Remember, you’ll receive respect when you give it to others.
 An ideal team player knows how to have fun, but he would
never do it at someone else’s expense.

SUPPORT AND RESPECT OTHERS


 Don’t always expect that everyone is going to solves the
problems in a workspace!
 Always try to solve the problem yourselves too.
 Your team mates would appreciate your skills and it would
always pay off later!

BE A PROBLEM SOLVER
 A good team player will back off an idea when it becomes clear
it’s not the right path.
 If you believe strongly that your team is making a mistake, you
can find a way to come back to the issue when the time is right.
 Being a stubborn stick in the mud is not a quality of a good team
player.

RECOGNIZE WHEN YOU
