• Can be written, oral, symbolic or
non-verbal.
• It is generated by the speaker.
• Is then intended to be
communicated further.
• The subject matter of the
communication.
Channel

• Medium through which the message is
transmitted.
• The way of sending the massage.
• It must be selected carefully.
• Message can be written or spoken.
Receiver/Listener
• Sometimes called audience.
• The one who receives the message.
• Who decodes the message from the
sender.
• Who understand the message.
• Analyze the message from the receiver.
