“Hi, Kim Seng!” said Jagjit.
“Hello, Jagjit!” replied Kim Seng. “You look like you are in a hurry.
Where are you going?”
“My brother’s birthday is tomorrow. I’m going to the department
store to buy him a present,” said Jagjit excitedly.
“Wow, that’s great! What are you going to buy for him?” asked Kim
Seng.
“At first, I wanted to buy him a new backpack. The one that he has
now is old,” replied Jagjit with a smile. She continued, “The type of
backpack my brother likes cost at least RM100.00. That is too expensive!
However, his favourite singer just released a new CD. It is RM49.90. That

good idea to have a budget when you plan to buy things. I have to go now.
