JCI BMS Architecture

BACnet IP is an architecture that allows BACnet devices to communicate over Ethernet networks using Internet protocols like TCP/IP. BACnet MSTP is an architecture that allows BACnet devices to communicate over MS/TP networks using the BACnet Master-Slave/Token-Passing protocol for communication between devices connected by serial cables. Both BACnet IP and BACnet MSTP are network architectures defined by the BACnet standard that enable communication between building automation and control systems.
